Wix & WordPress Web Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Wix & WordPress Web Developer to join our team remotely. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from brochure-style websites to fully functional eCommerce stores, all while collaborating closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding results.

What You'll Do

• Build and customize websites using Wix Classic Editor and Wix Studio based on client requirements.
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including theme customization and plugin integrations.
• Set up and manage WooCommerce stores, including products, payment gateways, shipping, and inventory.
• Create responsive, visually engaging pages using Elementor Pro.
• Implement custom features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript where needed.
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to gather requirements and explain technical solutions clearly.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
• Test, debug, and optimize websites across browsers and devices.
• Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions before they impact delivery.

Requirements

• Technical Skills (Must-Have)
• Strong experience with Wix Classic Editor and Wix Studio.
• Advanced knowledge of WordPress, including theme customization and plugin management.
• Hands-on experience with WooCommerce for eCommerce development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Elementor Pro.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom enhancements.
• Design Skills
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Experience using design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Soft Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Highly adaptable and comfortable working across different project sizes and scopes.

Nice to Have

• A portfolio showcasing Wix, WordPress, and WooCommerce projects.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, project managers).
