UI Designer - Industrial AI Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a talented UI Designer to join our fast-growing AI startup in Porto, Portugal. As a UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our industrial AI platform. Your UI skills won’t just make things visually appealing; they will drive high-stakes decisions in global supply chains. What You'll Do

• Maintain and enhance the Figma component library to ensure consistency across the product.
• Design high-quality UI elements that align with our branding and user needs.
• Prototype quickly using existing design assets to facilitate rapid iteration.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Explore new UI directions and propose visual improvements that enhance usability.
• Ensure clarity and alignment in every pixel, driving visual coherence across screens and flows.
• Shape the user-facing logic of the industrial AI platform as a key contributor.

Requirements

• Strong UI fundamentals with a keen visual attention to detail.
• Advanced Figma skills, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping.
• Experience working with and evolving design systems.
• Ability to iterate quickly and take constructive feedback.
• Clear communication of design decisions to team members.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or data-heavy UIs is a plus.
• Accessibility awareness, including contrast and keyboard flows.

Nice to Have

• Experience in creating user interfaces for complex data-driven applications.
• Familiarity with modern design trends and best practices.
