Loss Prevention Shift Leader - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Shift Leader to join our team at Marriott International, offering a unique remote opportunity. As a Loss Prevention Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting key control audits, monitoring electronic key boxes, and assisting guests with room access. This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment and providing exceptional service to our guests.

What You'll Do

• Conduct key control audits and monitor electronic key boxes to ensure the safekeeping of master keys and radios.
• Patrol all areas of the property, assisting guests with room access and responding to emergencies.
• Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV) and alarm systems to ensure safety.
• Complete incident reports documenting all security-related incidents and resolve safety hazard situations.
• Assist management in training and motivating team members, serving as a role model.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with guests and team members.
• Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, ensuring quality assurance expectations are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No related work experience required; this is an entry-level position.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to respond to work situations quickly and effectively.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Basic computer skills for entering and locating work-related information.
• Commitment to providing exceptional guest service and maintaining a safe environment.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a security or loss prevention role.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
