UI Designer for Industrial AI Platform - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented UI Designer for an exciting opportunity to work remotely with a fast-growing AI startup based in Porto. As a UI Designer, your skills will not only enhance the visual appeal but will also play a crucial role in powering high-stakes decisions in global supply chains. This UI Designer remote position offers a chance to work with a collaborative tech team that is passionate about leveraging AI solutions to forecast demand, prices, and volumes for industrial customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and improve the Figma component library to ensure consistency across the product.
• Design high-quality UI elements that enhance user experience and engagement.
• Prototype quickly using existing design assets to streamline the development process.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align design with functionality.
• Explore new UI directions and propose visual improvements that enhance usability.
• Ensure clarity and alignment in every pixel to drive visual coherence across screens and flows.
• As a UI Designer, you’ll directly shape the user-facing logic of the industrial AI platform.

Requirements

• Strong UI fundamentals and a keen visual attention to detail.
• Advanced skills in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping.
• Experience working with and evolving design systems.
• Ability to iterate quickly and take feedback constructively.
• Clear communication of design decisions to stakeholders.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or data-heavy UIs is a plus.
• Awareness of accessibility standards (contrast, keyboard flows, etc.).

Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Interest in AI and its applications in design.
