Tree Care Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Tree Care Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and implementing tree care measures across various locations, ensuring sustainability and compliance with environmental regulations.

What You'll Do

• Plan, implement, and evaluate tree care measures for external sites and highway maintenance departments.
• Conduct botanical assessments of trees, considering their age and development.
• Evaluate tree conditions and assess damages caused by pests, diseases, and other factors.
• Analyze and document findings, initiating further actions as necessary.
• Organize and conduct internal training sessions for staff on ecology and environmental planning.
• Participate in committee and project work related to tree care and environmental services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Arboriculture, Forestry Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in arboriculture, environmental planning, and tree assessment.
• Experience in tree inspection and traffic safety.
• Strong knowledge of technical regulations (ASR A2.1, DIN 18920) and environmental laws.
• Familiarity with road administration and civil law.
• Proficient in using specialized hand-held equipment.
• Valid driver's license (Class B/BE).
