Crisis Management Analyst - Remote Position
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crisis Management Analyst to join our team remotely. In this role, you will contribute to national crisis management by developing analyses and situational awareness. As a Crisis Management Analyst remote, you will be instrumental in enhancing our ability to gather, analyze, and communicate information during crises.
What You'll Do
- Gather, validate, and structure information from various sources to support crisis management efforts.
- Conduct analyses of incidents, trends, and risks to inform decision-making.
- Prepare situational reports, maps, and visual products that aid in operational environments.
- Manage and further develop the crisis support tool RAYVN to ensure its effectiveness.
- Develop methodologies and tools for analysis and situational understanding.
- Participate in crisis management teams and operational functions as needed, including exercises and evaluations.
Requirements
- Relevant higher education at the master's level, preferably in public safety, political science, geography, intelligence, data analysis, or similar fields.
- Experience in preparing decision-making bases, operational analyses, and situational reports, preferably from a crisis management organization.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian.
- Ability to work structured and precisely under pressure.
- Personal qualities: analytical, development-oriented, results-driven, quality-conscious, and a team player who remains calm in stressful situations.
Nice to Have
- Experience using crisis support tools or alert services.
- Competence in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or visualization tools.
- Experience in crisis management, operations center, or analysis/intelligence environments.
- Ability to translate complex information into decision-relevant insights.

- A permanent position as an advisor with a salary range from NOK 600,000 to 720,000 or as a senior advisor with a salary range from NOK 720,000 to 860,000.
