Technical Support Engineer (Swedish Speaking) - Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer (Swedish Speaking) remote to join our Global Technical Support team at Helvar. In this role, you will provide high-quality technical assistance to our customers in Sweden, Finland, and the UK, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.
What You'll Do
- Manage technical inquiries and deliver expert troubleshooting guidance to Helvar customers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance support processes, tools, and documentation.
- Independently resolve issues while working with our 2nd line technical support and R&D teams on complex challenges.
- Support Helvar partner companies’ technical teams and their key customers, offering expert guidance and problem-solving assistance.
- Continuously enhance your technical expertise by staying updated with new intelligent building solutions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within Helvar products and systems, documenting solutions and escalating customer concerns as necessary.
- Focus on lifecycle product services, including troubleshooting, repairs, end-user training, and system upgrades.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a seamless experience for all Helvar customers.
Requirements
- Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written) is mandatory; Finnish and additional European languages are a plus.
- Basic IT networking knowledge with the ability to support system integration.
- Electrical or electronic background for effective technical problem-solving.
- Familiarity with automation, integration, networks, and/or AV equipment is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise professionally with VARs and customers.
- Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in technical troubleshooting.
- Proficient IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when necessary.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of lighting controls, particularly experience in commissioning complete lighting control systems (preferably DALI).
