Teamcenter Administrator - Remote Support for Engineering Teams

About the Role

We are seeking a Teamcenter Administrator to join our Freight Components engineering and digital team. This remote Teamcenter Administrator role will support several engineering sites across Europe, ensuring stable and efficient PLM operations. You will collaborate daily with design engineers, production engineering, CAD administrators, and the global PLM/IT organization, making a significant impact on our engineering teams in the UK and US.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily PLM support to engineering teams in the UK and US, ensuring the reliability and quality of our Teamcenter PLM environment.
• Create and maintain Teamcenter queries, troubleshoot user issues, and manage access rights.
• Open and validate CAD models in NX, SolidWorks, and Creo to identify missing references or corrupt datasets.
• Clean, correct, and standardize legacy data as part of ongoing multi-site migration activities.
• Support workflows by unblocking processes, updating statuses, and fixing lifecycle inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with global PLM architects, CAD admins, and data migration teams to streamline PLM tools and engineering processes.
• Develop and maintain user documentation, best practices, specifications, and training materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering workflows and PLM operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Teamcenter functional support, administration, or PLM analyst roles.
• Understanding of BMIDE concepts, workflows, queries, datasets, and lifecycle states.
• Ability to open and troubleshoot NX, Creo, or SolidWorks assemblies.
• Knowledge of product structure principles (EBOM, CadBOM).
• Experience supporting engineering teams in industrial environments.
• Strong communication skills; ability to guide non-technical users.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• Experience with data cleaning or multi-CAD environments is a strong plus.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Oracle and Power BI.
