Smart Adoption Manager - Hybrid Role at British Land

About the Role

We are seeking a Smart Adoption Manager to join our team at British Land. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful adoption of digital access and smart platforms across our properties. As a Smart Adoption Manager, you will play a key role in transforming new capabilities into practical usage, enhancing customer confidence, and driving commercial value.

What You'll Do

• Own the adoption and behavioral integration of MyPass and MyBuilding following deployment.
• Work directly with on-site teams and Property Management leadership to embed digital access as the default operating model.
• Translate smart platform capabilities into day-to-day user behaviors, ensuring frictionless and confident usage across the portfolio.
• Build structured, proactive relationships with customers and on-site teams to drive enthusiasm for smart capabilities.
• Develop guidance, playbooks, and support materials that make digital adoption intuitive and repeatable.
• Shape and define new smart building service offerings, including data-driven propositions.
• Collaborate with Leasing and Asset Management teams to develop pricing and viability assessments for new offerings.
• Act as the voice of occupiers and site teams post-deployment, identifying friction and opportunities to simplify processes.

Requirements

• Experience driving adoption of digital platforms or technology change in complex operational environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across site teams and property management.
• Ability to translate technical capability into operational behaviors and user-friendly guidance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
• Understanding of smart buildings, IoT platforms, or digital access technologies.
