About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Administrator to join the University of Edinburgh in a remote capacity. This Teaching Administrator role offers a unique opportunity to support the School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences, providing essential administrative support to enhance the educational experience for our students.

What You'll Do

• Provide professional administrative support for teaching and assessment processes across various courses.
• Engage with undergraduate and postgraduate students, course organizers, and the academic community to deliver an exceptional educational experience.
• Collaborate with the Teaching Office team and Student Services to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Utilize digital tools and IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, to manage workloads effectively.
• Adapt to changes in student systems and contribute to a dynamic academic environment.

Requirements

• Vocational qualification (e.g., N/SVQ Level 2 or 3, ONC, or equivalent) or relevant work experience.
• Competent digital and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a collaborative team setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new challenges.
