Project Manager - Service Operations Management (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager - Service Operations Management (Remote) to join our team at HENSOLDT. This role focuses on naval and ground radar systems, where you will lead cross-departmental service operations teams to deliver exceptional service to our military and civilian clients. Your expertise will be crucial in managing service contracts and ensuring the operational readiness of approximately 60 installed systems worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Lead cross-functional service operations teams (8-10 members) to fulfill service delivery in national and international projects.
• Manage the proposal creation and contract negotiation for extensive service offerings based on our product services portfolio.
• Develop innovative service concepts tailored to customer-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary product team for the TRX-3D radar product family throughout its lifecycle.
• Ensure the supportability of a global installed base of radar systems.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in project management, including contract negotiations in both national and international contexts.
• Fundamental knowledge of export and customs regulations.
• Strong teamwork skills in an international/multicultural environment.
• Excellent negotiation skills with clients and contractors (both internal and external).
• Familiarity with common management tools such as MS Project and SAP.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
