Systems Security Engineer - Remote Position at Anduril Industries

About the Role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to join our innovative team. This remote Systems Security Engineer role focuses on leading a mission-driven, threat-informed approach to Anti-Tamper Engineering for next-generation autonomous systems. As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in transforming military capabilities through advanced technology.

What You'll Do

• Identify Critical Program Information (CPI) for various cutting-edge systems across air, land, maritime, and space domains.
• Design and implement Anti-Tamper mitigations to deter, detect, delay, and react to reverse engineering attempts.
• Develop Anti-Tamper Plans and designs in collaboration with government personnel to mitigate security risks while maintaining system performance.
• Champion system security architecture development and requirements derivation for Anduril products.
• Consult and influence software, RF, and electrical engineering architectures to ensure security compliance.
• Identify and prioritize mission-based security risks, translating complex threat landscapes into actionable engineering decisions.
• Develop, document, and execute system security tests, demonstrations, evaluations, and assessments.
• Support technical work products developed by the larger engineering team and assist in major milestone deliveries.

Requirements

• Experience in Anti-Tamper Engineering, Systems Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Proven track record in Systems Security Engineering, including embedded Program Protection Implementation Plans.
• Experience executing the Anti-Tamper process and authoring associated documentation.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Expertise with Anti-Tamper methodologies and embedded systems security.
• Experience with security architectures for autonomous platforms and unmanned systems.
• Familiarity with cryptographic solutions and key management systems.
