Systems and Network Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Systems and Network Engineer to join our dynamic team at Sisley. This remote opportunity allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to the growth of a leading global luxury cosmetics brand. As a Systems and Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining the architecture and ensuring the reliability and performance of our IT infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design system and network architectures to ensure reliability and performance, including disaster recovery plans.
• Define best practices for system and network management and facilitate knowledge transfer to operational teams.
• Provide technical expertise for IT infrastructure projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Deliver level 3 support in system and network administration, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents.
• Oversee external partners and ensure service quality aligns with contractual commitments.
• Implement monitoring solutions to generate performance statistics and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Stay updated on technological advancements and security issues.
• Organize and execute the quality assurance plan for the information system.

Requirements

• Higher education in Systems and Network Engineering with significant experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in English (both oral and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, Linux (SUSE, Ubuntu), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and Radius.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and hyper-converged storage.
• Strong networking skills, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP) and firewall administration (Palo Alto, Juniper).
• Ability to work in multi-site, multi-tiered, and multi-operator environments.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough knowledge of network standards and procedures.

Nice to Have

• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash.
• Familiarity with VoIP administration and Zscaler applications.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CCNA, Azure certifications).
