System Reliability Engineer - Remote DevOps Role

About the Role

Growe is looking for a talented System Reliability Engineer to join our remote team. In this System Reliability Engineer remote position, you will ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure and services through monitoring, automation, and operational best practices.

What You'll Do

• Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement recovery and long-term fixes.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, and automation tools for consistency and repeatability.
• Implement and maintain metrics, logs, and tracing solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) to ensure system visibility.
• Identify bottlenecks, tune systems, and improve infrastructure performance.
• Monitor resources, forecast growth, and implement scaling strategies.
• Integrate security best practices into Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
• Support vulnerability management and participate in 24/7 rotations for timely resolution of critical incidents.
• Collaborate with DevOps, PRE, development, and security teams to improve reliability and design resilient systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, and RDS.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Atlantis for reproducible infrastructure.
• Experience with GitLab CI, FluxCD, and automation tools like Ansible and Python.
• Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AWS EKS), and Helm.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and AWS CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and AWS networking.
• Certifications in AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cloudflare services.
• Exposure to AWS Cost Explorer and custom cost export tools.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
