Staff Software Engineer - AI Assistant Development

We're hiring a Staff Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Lindy. As a Staff Software Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in building the AI assistant that simplifies daily tasks for users. Lindy Assistant integrates seamlessly into iMessage, managing emails, calendars, and meetings with ease. What You'll Do

• Own and deliver major features end-to-end, from initial prototype to production deployment as a Staff Software Engineer remote.
• Ensure the quality and polish of your code: write performant code, create pixel-perfect UI, and implement thoughtful error handling.
• Drive technical decisions with strong judgment, balancing speed and completeness effectively.
• Diagnose production issues using instrumentation and measurement, and continuously improve the codebase.
• Actively shape project priorities by engaging with customers and ensuring your work delivers measurable impact.

Requirements

• Deep full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping customer-facing features in high-growth environments.
• Ability to prioritize action over process; you prefer to ship something imperfect and iterate rather than wait for perfection.
• Strong autonomy: you understand your priorities and take initiative without waiting for direction.
• Excellent communication skills; you ask sharp questions and share context openly.
• Experience building AI-powered product features is a plus.
