As a Staff Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the private and edge cloud landscape through cutting-edge technologies. What You'll Do

• Serve as the domain expert for your component, leading design and architecture for major features.
• Own and maintain public-facing documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility.
• Evaluate and recommend technology choices that align with our strategic goals.
• Define technical architecture for initiatives, driving projects with significant technical complexity.
• Take end-to-end ownership of your component, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Engage with vendors and partners on integrations to enhance our offerings.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Help define and uphold the engineering hiring bar to attract top talent.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Deep expertise in at least one major technical domain.
• Expert-level programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Strong system design and distributed systems capabilities.
• Experience operating and debugging large-scale infrastructure.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues effectively.
• Deep expertise in virtualization, containers, or cloud platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
