Remote Physical Therapist - Telehealth Team

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Remote Physical Therapist to join our telehealth team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. This role emphasizes a patient-first approach, ensuring that every interaction contributes to improved healthcare outcomes. As a Remote Physical Therapist, you will leverage your clinical expertise in orthopedics to provide exceptional care to patients from the comfort of their homes.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality patient care through telehealth services.
• Utilize strong clinical skills in orthopedics to assess and treat patients effectively.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in departmental process improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Engage in educational efforts and committee participation to promote best practices.
• Adhere to ethical standards and compliance regulations in all patient interactions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with state residency requirements (IL, IN, IA, MO, MI, WI, FL).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Experience with digital therapy care delivery preferred.
• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy is a plus.
