Senior Backend Developer - Remote Position

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer - Remote to join our innovative team at Remote. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with a global team of engineers across Frontend, Backend, SRE, and QA.
• Develop tools, APIs, and integrations for various products using Elixir, Phoenix, and Postgres.
• Participate in cross-functional development teams and contribute to a shared codebase.
• Provide feedback on code reviews and mentor junior engineers to support their professional growth.
• Debug and solve technical issues while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Engage in hiring and team activities to foster a collaborative environment.
• Work with CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins to streamline development processes.
• Embrace a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Senior Backend Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Postgres or similar databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins.
• Experience with Functional Programming languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is desirable.
• Proficiency in building scalable APIs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work asynchronously.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
