About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Product Designer - Unified Global Experience Ecosystem to join our innovative team at Speridian Technologies. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design of a unified global experience for multiple applications, particularly as part of a significant technical modernization project for the Department of Healthcare Services in California. You will play a crucial role in shaping enterprise-level user experiences that impact community health.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design of a unified global experience platform, focusing on system-level design rather than individual features.
  • Collaborate closely with product leadership and engineering teams to define user experience standards and navigation systems.
  • Work on information architecture and way-finding experiences to ensure a coherent experience across multiple applications.
  • Establish global UX behavior standards and create onboarding materials for product teams.
  • Measure and iterate on user experience standards, driving transformation in Behavioral Health services.
  • Influence product teams without direct authority, demonstrating systems thinking and design governance skills.
  • Communicate effectively through excellent written communication and facilitation skills.
  • Self-direct and navigate ambiguity, creating structure in complex environments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product design experience, particularly with enterprise portals and platform design.
  • Strong expertise in information architecture and navigation.
  • Experience with role-based user experiences is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product teams without direct authority.
  • Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication and facilitation skills.
  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to create structure in complex environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare or related fields.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing.
