About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas GIS Title Mapping Analyst - Remote to join our dynamic team at Paramount Field Services. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your GIS expertise in the oil and gas sector while working remotely. As a key member of our team, you will support complex mapping and spatial analysis across multiple producing basins, ensuring high-quality results that meet industry standards.

What You'll Do

• Utilize your GIS expertise to support landmen and project managers with mapping and data management.
• Interpret legal descriptions and convert them into GIS data, maintaining mapping standards across multiple states.
• Focus on mapping leases, wells, and units in the oil and gas sector.
• Collaborate with landmen and title analysts to ensure accuracy and integrity of spatial data.
• Manage spatial data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks in Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, and North Dakota.
• Employ ArcGIS Pro and ESRI tools to deliver exceptional mapping solutions.
• Maintain strong attention to detail in all aspects of GIS data management.
• Contribute to a collaborative work environment that values effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of GIS experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong experience mapping oil and gas assets.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and ESRI geospatial tools.
• Understanding of PLSS and Texas abstract survey systems.
• Ability to interpret legal land descriptions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to spatial data integrity management.
• Experience with land data management systems is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with regulatory frameworks in additional states.
• Familiarity with advanced GIS techniques and methodologies.
• Previous experience in a remote work environment.
