Staff AI Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
Cority is seeking a Staff AI Software Engineer to join our innovative team. This remote position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you'll leverage your expertise in AI to enhance our EHS+ platform. As a Staff AI Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing AI agents that automate workflows and improve decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and ship agentic workflows across multiple domains, including research agents, coding assistants, and conversational agents.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI agents, from data ingestion to action taking and evaluation.
- Architect systems using modern agent stacks like LangChain and OpenAI Assistants.
- Build robust retrieval pipelines and deploy agents as microservices with observability and fallbacks.
- Optimize inference cost, latency, and accuracy while running systematic evaluations.
- Create reusable frameworks to accelerate future agent builds.
- Drive technical decisions to meet product requirements and anticipate future needs.
- Mentor junior developers and communicate directly with Product Owners.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years as an AI developer.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with LLMs and agent frameworks such as LangChain and OpenAI.
- Proficiency in .NET Core, Python, and database applications.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Ability to build MVPs quickly and scale them to production.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with remote teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with NoSQL databases and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker and machine learning concepts.
