Commercial Manager - DACH Region (Remote)
About the Role
At Streem Energy, we are seeking a Commercial Manager - DACH Region (Remote) to lead our growth initiatives in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This role is crucial for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys working independently and building relationships. You will be instrumental in driving Streem’s growth in the DACH region by managing the entire sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closing deals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and retain a strong understanding of Streem’s product offerings and ideal customer profiles to effectively identify and pursue opportunities in the DACH market.
- Own and manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and successful deal closure.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market research, account mapping, networking, and industry engagement.
- Travel within the region to meet clients and attend relevant industry events, fostering strong relationships across the ecosystem.
- Develop relationships with new clients and manage and grow those accounts over time, ensuring long-term partnerships and expansion opportunities.
- Act as the regional expert for the DACH market, developing deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks, market structures, and industry dynamics.
- Share market insights internally to help inform product development and strategy.
- Serve as a bridge between clients and the engineering/product teams to ensure client needs are clearly understood and addressed.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in the energy sector, ideally in renewable energy, power markets, or energy services.
- Fluent German speaker with full professional fluency in English.
- Strong client-facing experience and relationship management skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of a market and work independently.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in SaaS sales or energy data platforms.
- Familiarity with renewable energy markets, asset management, or specific power market operations.
