About the Role

We are seeking a talented SRE / Platform Engineer - Remote to join our fast-growing startup. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and make a real impact on our platform's reliability and performance. As an SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and efficiency of our services while collaborating with development teams to implement best practices in site reliability engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using observability tools like Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Implement security best practices across cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks to enhance platform reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical incidents.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an SRE or Platform Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with FastAPI and React.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks and tools.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and culture.
