Software Engineering Intern - Cloud Development

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join Amadeus’ Global Technology and Cloud Platforms division. This Software Engineering Intern remote position offers a unique opportunity to help build the internal tools that power our cloud ecosystem. You will be part of the AUD (Amadeus Unified Descriptor) team, working on real features used by engineering teams across Amadeus. This internship is perfect for students who want to strengthen their software engineering skills, learn cloud-native development, and gain hands-on experience in a high-impact environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop backend features using Java Quarkus and/or Golang.
• Build and update Angular UI components.
• Work with NoSQL data stores and cloud-native patterns.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and daily team collaboration.

Requirements

• You are currently completing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Basic experience with at least one programming language (Java, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.).
• Curiosity about cloud technologies like Kubernetes, containers, and NoSQL.
• Motivation to learn fast and contribute to production-level development.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate on engineering tasks.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD practices.
• Interest in cloud-native development.
