About the Role

We are seeking a Total Rewards Specialist to join our team at GlobalFoundries. This Total Rewards Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs across the EMEA region while working remotely. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our compensation structures are fair, transparent, and aligned with local market requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and enhance compensation and benefits programs in the EMEA region based on market best practices.
  • Conduct market and salary analyses as well as benchmarking to ensure competitive pay structures.
  • Analyze complex datasets, create reports, and provide actionable recommendations for management and HR teams.
  • Manage annual compensation processes, including bonuses and salary reviews, while supporting off-cycle recognition programs.
  • Maintain and enhance job architectures, salary bands, and internal compensation guidelines.
  • Oversee benefit programs, including supplementary benefits and international offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with local legal requirements, collective agreements, and EU regulations like the Pay Transparency Directive.
  • Collaborate with works councils and unions on compensation-related topics.
  • Advise leaders, HR business partners, and finance on compensation, benefits, and recognition matters.
  • Work closely with global Total Rewards teams on corporate-wide programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on HR, Controlling, or Personnel Management.
  • Strong knowledge of German collective agreements, co-determination, works council, and union structures, as well as basic European labor law frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills; initial experience in HR analytics and compensation modeling (e.g., data analysis, market benchmarks).
  • Proficient in HRIS and compensation tools, as well as MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using generative AI in HR (e.g., for report generation, benchmarking analyses, scenario modeling, documentation).
  • Strong communication and advisory skills, particularly in dealing with leaders, HR business partners, and employee representatives.
  • Fluent in English and German (minimum C1 level).

Nice to Have

  • Relevant professional experience in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards, ideally in an international environment.
  • Additional languages such as French, Dutch, or Spanish are a plus, especially for collaboration with local HR teams in EMEA.
