Events Consultant - Defence Sector

About the Role

We are seeking an Events Consultant to join our dynamic team in the defence sector. This Events Consultant remote position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering impactful global events while working with a collaborative international team.

What You'll Do

• Support the planning and execution of over 40 international events annually, ensuring seamless logistics and coordination.
• Act as the central point of contact for all event-related communications, managing relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage all event materials, including schedules, signage, and delegate packs, while maintaining clear action logs.
• Provide on-site support during events, troubleshooting issues and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Collaborate with the Defence Marketing & Communications team to integrate events into the broader marketing strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event coordination or logistics, ideally within a professional services environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; experience with event registration platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally for events and work flexible hours as needed.

• Experience working in the defence sector or with external suppliers and venues.
• Project coordination experience.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
