Software Engineer - Hybrid/​Remote Opportunities in Germany

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our innovative team at GiveYu. This Software Engineer remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to exciting projects across Germany and Europe. You will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality applications that meet the needs of our users.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code as a Software Engineer remote.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions to enhance our software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Support CI/CD and deployment processes to streamline our development workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node.js, React, or Angular.
• Knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in developing scalable applications in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
