Set-up Operator - Manufacturing (Remote Opportunity)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Set-up Operator to join our dynamic team at Schaeffler. You will play a crucial role in setting up production equipment and ensuring operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Operate machinery and tools to set up production equipment accurately.
• Ensure proper configuration and calibration of machines.
• Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain smooth operations.
• Set up and/or program machines, checking the accuracy and effectiveness of test sequences.
• Monitor machine operations during production to ensure efficiency and correctness.
• Diagnose and resolve minor technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel when necessary.
• Inspect finished products/components and submit for approval.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Set-up Operator or in a similar technical role.
• Vocational training in a technical field is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
