Server Assistant - Sortino's Italian Kitchen (Remote Opportunities)

About the Role

Join Kalahari Resorts & Conventions as a Server Assistant - Sortino's Italian Kitchen and help deliver the Kalahari experience. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. This position offers an opportunity to work remotely while being part of a team that embodies our promise to Lead with Love.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional service to guests by ensuring tables are clean and dining areas are tidy.
• Take dirty tableware to the dish room and place silverware, dishes, and glassware in the appropriate areas for washing.
• Promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths between seating to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Inspect and clean assigned restrooms every 30 minutes, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Communicate with servers and hosts to assure efficient seating and customer service.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations as directed by the restaurant manager.

Requirements

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Must be self-directed and able to work independently during busy times.
• Prior restaurant, hotel, resort, or customer service experience is helpful.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
