Full Stack Developer (Web) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're hiring a Full Stack Developer (Web) to join our innovative team at BetterMe. This remote opportunity allows you to lead the development of a new Style Mobile application using React Native, ensuring high technical quality and scalable architecture from the start. As a Full Stack Developer (Web), you will collaborate with the team to validate existing research and prepare the platform for supporting both Web and Mobile applications.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of mobile applications using React Native.
• Contribute to the development of the Style web platform and related services, both frontend and backend.
• Mentor team members in React Native development to enhance mobile expertise.
• Participate in full-cycle product development, including architecture discussions, feature implementation, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to improve funnels and deliver impactful features.
• Identify and escalate required backend improvements for seamless support of multiple client applications.
• Contribute to engineering culture through knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

• Strong experience building production mobile applications with React Native.
• Hands-on experience deploying apps to App Store and Google Play.
• Solid frontend experience with React, Redux Toolkit, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Strong backend understanding with practical experience in Node.js / NestJS, PostgreSQL, and TypeORM.
• Experience working across full-stack product development.
• Proactive engineer with strong collaboration skills.
• Confident user of AI engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.

Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring engineers or helping teams adopt new technologies.
• Familiarity with mobile analytics and growth tools like Firebase and Amplitude.
• Experience integrating third-party services such as Shopify API or Zendesk.
