Senior User Experience Researcher - Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Senior User Experience Researcher to join our team at Nutanix. What You'll Do

• Lead and execute comprehensive user research initiatives to uncover user needs and behaviors across our product portfolio.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user research findings into the product development lifecycle.
• Develop and implement research protocols, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods to inform design decisions.
• Utilize telemetry data and analytics tools to enhance insights into user interactions and drive product optimization strategies.
• Monitor and report on user engagement through dashboards and other reporting mechanisms, tracking progress over time.
• Mentor junior researchers and designers, promoting a culture of learning and user-centered design principles within the team.
• Champion user advocacy by effectively communicating research insights and user stories to stakeholders and leadership.
• Establish key objectives for the first year, focusing on building a robust research strategy for flagship products and fostering a user-centric design culture.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of user research experience for web and/or cloud products.
• Must have domain experience in cloud computing.
• Strong proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Expertise in analyzing telemetry data using tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder presentations and reports.
• Ability to synthesize and translate research insights into actionable design improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in developing user journeys and conducting contextual inquiries.
• B2B experience required.
