Senior Test Automation Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join our team as a Senior Test Automation Engineer to help shape the future of runtime CNAPP and CADR solutions. This is a remote opportunity based in the United States, where you'll play a crucial role in building automated regression coverage for core product workflows. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in automation-first testing and API-first regression coverage to ensure the quality and reliability of our innovative platform.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate requirements and acceptance criteria into executable tests.
• Build and maintain a stable automation suite that validates core platform behaviors through service interfaces and APIs.
• Automate high-value user journeys, ensuring UI automation complements strong API coverage.
• Establish clear visibility into test coverage and results through CI checks and dashboards.
• Help define baseline QA processes and establish a practical approach to testable acceptance criteria.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation or software engineering with substantial test ownership.
• Strong automation skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience working directly with APIs programmatically, including authentication and contract validation.
• Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes concepts for debugging environment-dependent failures.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Playwright or Cypress for UI automation.
• Contract testing experience, such as OpenAPI schema validation or Pact.
• Experience testing asynchronous or event-driven systems.
• Background in security domain experience.
