Senior Team Lead Product Design - B2B SaaS

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Team Lead Product Design (remote) to shape the future of a B2B SaaS product for craft businesses starting from May 1, 2026. In this role, you will lead an interdisciplinary team of approximately five Product Designers and UX Researchers, elevating the UX and UI quality of our product while ensuring we effectively leverage AI and automation.

What You'll Do

• Lead and continuously develop your team, providing opportunities for professional and personal growth.
• Demonstrate and drive design and product excellence through principles and standards that create outstanding user experiences.
• Strengthen Design Ops and collaboration by scaling design processes, tools, and rituals in close cooperation with the Head of Product Design, Product, and Engineering.
• Develop design systems and workflows, including targeted advancements in AI and automation.
• Ensure that research is strategically and systematically applied to enhance discovery and strategy with critical insights.
• Be hands-on in design or research when necessary, showing your team how to achieve excellence.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Product Designer in digital products, ideally in the B2B or SaaS environment, with a portfolio demonstrating high craft quality.
• Experience in leading more than three designers and UX researchers simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Design Ops, design systems, scalable processes, tools, and collaboration, as well as experience with AI and automation.
• A deep understanding of product discovery, working in a product trio, and collaboration with agile development teams.
• Fluent in both German and English (C1 level) to effectively communicate with users, team members, and stakeholders.
• Ability to present and argue clearly, making decisions transparent and visible to your team.
