About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team at BlueDot Impact. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI safety and biosecurity while working remotely. Since our inception in 2022, we have trained over 6,000 individuals in AI safety, and our alumni are now making significant contributions at leading organizations like Anthropic and DeepMind.

What You'll Do

• Find exceptional talent by sourcing the best candidates creatively and relentlessly.
• Build warm relationships with potential candidates even before roles open, ensuring a talent pool ready for recruitment.
• Design and manage a fast, rigorous hiring process that candidates rave about.
• Reduce the time from first contact to offer from 12 weeks to 4 weeks.
• Understand candidate motivations and tailor pitches to attract top talent to our mission-driven nonprofit.
• Enhance BlueDot's employer brand to attract exceptional talent in AI safety.

Requirements

• Proven ability to identify and attract top talent in a high-agency, mission-driven environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced recruitment role is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of the AI safety landscape and where to find ideal candidates.
• Ability to execute quickly and iteratively to fill positions.
• Passion for the mission of AI safety and pandemic preparedness.

Nice to Have

• Prior recruiting experience in tech or nonprofit sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
