What You'll Do
- Define and communicate architecture vision at the ART level, coordinating with Business Owners and across brands.
- Manage architecture work at the team level, analyzing stakeholder requirements and creating technical concepts.
- Maintain continuous exchange with individual tech leads from Scrum teams, approving solutions and addressing ART-wide technical challenges.
- Contribute to cost-benefit assessments of alternative solutions, including monetary evaluation and risk analysis from a technical point of view.
- Collaborate with Agile teams in the ART structure to ensure best software development practices are applied.
- Mentor team leads in technical aspects and foster built-in quality and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
- Design and build reliable monitoring and alerting systems to create proactive mitigation strategies.
- Support the Continuous Delivery Pipeline (CDP) through appropriate architecture guidelines.
Requirements
- BA Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent professional experience in Software Engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a System/Platform Architect role.
- Proven experience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environments, ideally as System Architect within an ART.
- Strong understanding of PI Planning, ART ceremonies, and cross-team architecture coordination.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining architecture documentation using industry-standard frameworks like arc42 or TOGAF.
- Experience with Java and Spring ecosystem, Spring Boot; Kotlin is a plus.
- Experience with cloud service providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Fluent in German and English or Spanish.

- SAFe certification.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
