Senior System Analyst - Payment Integrations Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior System Analyst for Payment Integrations to join our dynamic team at GR8 Tech. This Senior System Analyst remote position is crucial for building and scaling seamless payment integrations that directly impact transaction success, user experience, and revenue. You will play a key role in expanding and stabilizing our Payment Service Provider (PSP) ecosystem by owning the design, analysis, and delivery of integrations from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Drive strategy and outcomes by improving payment success rates, stability, and performance across integrations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize routing, reduce failures, and enhance user experience.
• Contribute to the payments roadmap with a strong focus on integrations.
• Define and track integration KPIs such as success rate, latency, and error rates.
• Analyze PSP APIs, documentation, and integration requirements to ensure clarity and precision.
• Translate business needs into detailed integration specifications.
• Validate solutions with stakeholders prior to development to ensure alignment.
• Own the payment integration process from requirements gathering to launch, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Act as a liaison between PSP partners, business teams, and engineering to align on integration scope and timelines.
• Map end-to-end payment flows, including edge cases and failure scenarios, to maintain comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with payment integrations and PSPs.
• Strong understanding of payment flows including deposits, withdrawals, routing, and retries.
• Experience working in high-load or transaction-based systems.
• Solid knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to structure complex integration logic into clear requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of payment metrics and optimization strategies.
• Experience with process modeling tools such as BPMN, UML, or similar.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart, and Figma.
• Knowledge of compliance or regional specifics in payments.
