About the Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our team remotely and own the full delivery lifecycle of our core platform. This Product Manager remote position is hands-on and high-context, situated at a lean, fast-moving startup. You'll be at the center of engineering, leadership, and day-to-day execution, acting as the connective tissue between business direction and technical delivery.

The ideal candidate is process-minded yet pragmatic, able to bring order to ambiguity without adding bureaucratic drag. You will be comfortable context-switching frequently, performing light technical work when necessary, and pushing the team toward better habits while protecting the delivery pace that makes us effective.

What You’ll Do

  • Run the daily developer standup each morning, reviewing overnight Linear updates and addressing blockers.
  • Participate in a daily sync with the CEO and Chief of Staff, delivering substantive updates on engineering progress.
  • Create well-scoped Linear tickets for upcoming work, ensuring clarity on business intent and technical feasibility.
  • Field questions from developers on ticket intent and feature behavior, serving as the primary PM-side resource during active sprints.
  • Maintain Linear as the system of record for all active and upcoming work, proactively writing tickets and keeping priorities current.
  • Establish and own a formal release cycle, defining what 'done' means and ensuring features ship with documentation.
  • Actively test the platform and key features before release, treating feature testing as a core PM responsibility.
  • Respond to questions and directional requests from the leadership team and prepare scope-of-work documents as needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in product management, particularly with technical or platform-based products in a startup environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing backlogs, writing user stories, and running sprint ceremonies.
  • Solid working knowledge of modern web application architecture, including frontend frameworks and APIs.
  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into clear, actionable tickets and specs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable briefing executives and fielding developer questions.
  • A demonstrated track record of driving initiatives end-to-end, holding yourself accountable to outcomes.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a lean, fast-changing environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with AI-driven products or data-intensive systems.
  • Firsthand experience in an early-stage company where you wore multiple hats.
  • Previous experience as a software engineer or in a highly technical role.
  • Comfort with data exploration and light scripting.
  • Familiarity with formal QA processes and release cycle management.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote work environment with flexible hours.
  • Opportunity to have a direct impact on product development and company growth.
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • Professional development opportunities and potential for career growth.
  • Work in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.
