Senior Software Test Automation Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for quality assurance and automation in software testing. As a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to enhance our testing processes and frameworks.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python as the primary language for test automation.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks from scratch or improve existing ones to ensure robust testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and implement automated API frameworks.
• Perform integration and end-to-end testing to validate software functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps to streamline testing processes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and test coverage.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices in test automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Automation Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with testing frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Solid understanding of API testing and experience with REST clients.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Eligible for reliability security clearance.
