UI/​UX Designer - Remote Position for eCommerce Client

About the Role

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in a remote position supporting a UK-based client focused on enhancing website experience and performance. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented professional with a passion for designing engaging digital interfaces that improve user engagement and drive conversions. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, ensuring that the website's design aligns with business goals and user expectations.

What You'll Do

• Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes for website pages and features, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Enhance UX across key website sections such as the homepage, product pages, checkout process, and subscription flows to increase user engagement and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with marketing and development teams to implement conversion-focused design improvements that align with business objectives.
• Identify friction points within user journeys through data analysis and user feedback, providing actionable, data-driven solutions.
• Conduct UX audits, usability testing, and performance evaluations to continually optimize website functionality and user satisfaction.
• Maintain consistency in design elements across all digital touchpoints to reinforce brand identity and ensure a cohesive user experience.
• Work closely with developers to facilitate the smooth implementation of designs, providing necessary assets and guidance during development phases.
• Support the creation of landing pages for marketing campaigns and promotional activities, ensuring they are visually appealing and conversion-optimized.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of UI/UX experience, preferably within the eCommerce or D2C domain.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is essential.
• Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user behavior analysis to inform design decisions.
• Experience working with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms is highly desirable.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing website designs, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows is required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
