Senior Software QA Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our enterprise web applications, especially within the healthcare domain. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to contribute to impactful projects.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases for enterprise web applications.
• Plan and design effective test strategies in collaboration with development and DevOps teams.
• Conduct system, integration, and functional testing, including Oracle Financial Applications and CRM integrations.
• Manage the defect lifecycle from identification to closure, ensuring timely resolution.
• Create and manage test data while maintaining thorough test documentation.
• Estimate testing efforts and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure user satisfaction.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and suggest process/tool improvements to enhance team efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, preferably in the healthcare domain.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience in backend and ETL testing.
• Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Experience with automation scripting using Selenium (Python or Java).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and web-based application testing.
• Unix/Linux command line proficiency.
• Basic understanding of AWS fundamentals.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD automation experience (Jenkins/AWS tools).
• Knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications testing.
