We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure Applications (Remote) to join our innovative team at Brainlab. What You'll Do
- Be part of a powerful agile team of software engineers, diving deep into existing infrastructure applications and their architecture.
- Maintain and modernize infrastructure applications to ensure they remain state-of-the-art.
- Ensure high-quality software through adequate design, data structures, and comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers of clinical end-applications and related architects.
- Provide modern and comprehensive documentation for all projects.
- Share knowledge and offer technical guidance to colleagues within and outside the team.
- Contribute creatively to our success with innovative ideas and a self-responsible approach to work.
Requirements
- Professional experience in software development with a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in object-oriented software development, preferably with C++, C#, and/or TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of software concepts and trends in technology.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and adapt to new contexts.
- Well-organized, structured, and agile working style with a hands-on mentality.
- Experience with clinical data formats and protocols like FHIR, DICOM, and/or HL7 is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience in developing applications for healthcare or medical technology.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and big data analysis.
