Associate Commercial Counsel - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Commercial Counsel to join our dynamic team at Globalization Partners. This Associate Commercial Counsel remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our leading SaaS-based Global Employment Platform™. You will play a crucial role in supporting our growth across the EMEA region, working with a diverse, remote-first team dedicated to breaking down barriers to global business.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, review, and negotiate a high volume of contracts and related documents, including master services, consulting, license, and vendor agreements.
• Advise the business on contractual rights, obligations, and risks while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Deliver training sessions to the Sales team and other internal groups to enhance understanding of contract management.
• Utilize the company’s contract management system to maintain lifecycle requirements and alert internal clients to key contract dates.
• Analyze and revise contracts to ensure they meet legal standards and company regulations.
• Assist with various legal tasks, including conducting research and supporting commercial-related projects.
• Coordinate and drive completion of projects to address the needs of a high-growth global company.

Requirements

• An active license to practice law.
• 4-6 years of commercial law experience, particularly in contract negotiation and administration.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a pragmatic, sales-focused approach.
• Strong English language written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization, including senior management.
• Sound legal judgment and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Enthusiasm for engaging in new areas of law and jurisdictions.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working with global sales teams.
• Familiarity with contracts management software.
