About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer remote to join our innovative team at Glia, the leading AI customer service solution for banks and credit unions. As a Senior Software Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in developing our platform that unifies AI and human agents across various voice and digital conversations. With our proprietary ChannelLess® Architecture, we empower organizations to enhance their service operations by automating conversations and improving customer experiences.
What You'll Do
- Drive development across our stack, focusing on building Elixir microservices backed by Postgres, Redis, and DynamoDB.
- Contribute to both backend and frontend development, ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience for users.
- Work within self-reliant product teams on diverse projects throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Architect Glia’s core intelligence suite, including features like real-time Transcription and Autocomplete.
- Collaborate with team members to select and implement new technologies that meet our evolving needs.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong understanding of compiled, strictly-typed languages and design patterns.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and experience with containerized applications.
- Commitment to code quality with experience in unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.
Nice to Have
- Professional experience with Elixir, Ruby, or Go.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture.
