Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack C# .NET (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at K1X, Inc. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering scalable products that meet the needs of our clients.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality, secure, maintainable, and documented software products efficiently.
• Conduct meaningful code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues, providing on-call support during peak tax deadline periods.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality is a shared responsibility and provide leadership on testing practices.
• Build sharable code and services to minimize data duplication and enhance productivity.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive constant innovation.
• Identify and contribute to work process improvements through engineering efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on full-stack C# .NET web applications.
• 2+ years of experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, and ORM tools like Entity Framework.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, and Playwright.
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes for building cloud-native solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in a remote work environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the tax accounting or financial services industry.
• Familiarity with PDF libraries such as Aspose or IronPDF.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, especially using Python frameworks.
