Senior Software Engineer (C#) - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (C#) to join our remote team at YLD. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering high-quality API solutions that meet the needs of our clients. What You'll Do

• Architecting, designing, building, and delivering highly available, zero-downtime API products and solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other colleagues to solve exciting and results-oriented problems.
• Write clear, maintainable code that scales effectively.
• Contribute to the production operation and monitoring of systems, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming to enhance their technical skills.
• Proactively seek ways to improve team processes and drive good practices within your team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, specifically with C#.
• Proven experience in implementing high-quality cloud software solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong understanding of system design, design patterns, and API design.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to write idiomatic and maintainable C# code.
• Experience with agile methodologies and a focus on delivering high-quality products.

Nice to Have

• Experience in building high-performance API products.
• FinTech experience is a plus.
• Experience launching APIs for both internal and external consumers.
