Senior Software Engineer - AI-Enhanced Device Integration

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team remotely and contribute to our innovative projects in intelligent device integration and AI-enhanced software. In this role, you will help elevate our cutting-edge solutions that connect and control our industry-leading instrument portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Enhance and refine our software solutions to meet exceptionally high standards.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to support and improve engineering workflows.
• Translate architectural visions into robust, scalable code as part of our agile Software Development Team.
• Deliver clean, maintainable, and high-performance software in modern programming languages such as C++ or Golang.
• Design and maintain APIs, protocols, and data formats for seamless interoperability across systems.
• Collaborate closely with fellow developers and interdisciplinary teams to shape innovative solutions.
• Explore emerging technologies and continuously improve the functionality of our devices.
• Work in an international and dynamic environment, collaborating with IT, QA, Marketing, and Customer Service teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in service-oriented software development and experience with device integration.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding and a strong affinity for applying AI tools in software development.
• Proficiency in modern C++ or Golang is preferred.
• Agile mindset with the ability to break down requirements into manageable increments.
• Openness to learning new technologies and keeping up to date with industry trends.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with IoT protocols and data communication standards.
• Previous work in a health technology or biomedical research environment.
