About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our innovative team at Diagrid. This remote role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building reliable cloud infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and automation of our state-of-the-art Kubernetes-based cloud platform.
What You'll Do
- Build and operate cutting-edge cloud infrastructure to support Diagrid's core products.
- Define standards, deliver tools, processes, and frameworks to enhance the security and reliability of our services.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that facilitate rapid and secure software delivery across multiple cloud platforms.
- Continuously optimize our services and cloud infrastructure for performance and availability.
- Document operational knowledge and best practices to ensure team alignment.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and lead by example in incident management.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in provisioning and managing cloud resources on Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure, preferably in a multi-cloud environment.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes, including building processes and using industry-standard tools like Terraform.
- Experience setting up and operating stateful software on Kubernetes, such as Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Kubernetes best practices for cluster management, security, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to debug issues in Kubernetes clusters and complex distributed applications.
- Experience developing and supporting CI/CD production processes.
- Proficiency in Git-based version control systems.
- Strong scripting and programming skills, preferably in Bash, Python, and Go.

- Experience operating Postgres or Kafka at scale in production environments.
