Key Account Manager - Remote Opportunity at JDE Peet's
About the Role
We are seeking a Key Account Manager (remote) to join our dynamic team at JDE Peet's. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining successful relationships with our regional clients while implementing our national customer development strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading coffee and tea company that operates in over 100 countries.
What You'll Do
- Manage regional trade centers independently, coordinating closely with national account managers.
- Take responsibility for achieving business goals including sales, revenue, and customer profitability.
- Plan business strategies and develop concrete customer plans to maximize existing potential.
- Develop and implement joint value creation strategies for business growth with regional trade centers.
- Execute marketing plans and brand initiatives at customer locations.
- Ensure the achievement of KPIs such as listing and distribution targets.
- Collaborate closely with the field organization to meet KPIs and manage all relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a junior or regional KAM role in the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of the German retail market.
- Excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Hands-on mentality and strong teamwork abilities.
- Analytical thinking and conceptual strength.
- Fluent in German and English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the coffee or beverage industry.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
- Familiarity with CRM software.
