What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Ruby on Rails.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Design and optimize database schemas and implement effective design patterns.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps.
  • Follow best practices such as TDD, CI/CD, Agile/SCRUM, refactoring, and coding standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
  • Strong working knowledge of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RDBMS, and OOP concepts.
  • Solid understanding of database design and software design patterns.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
