Senior Retail Development Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Retail Development Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Retail Fit Out (RFO), store openings, refurbishments, and enhancing guest experiences. You will collaborate closely with various brands and internal teams to ensure compliance with design management and implementation standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Brand Shop Fit process, ensuring all necessary information is provided to brands for successful store openings.
• Coordinate with internal departments to address shop-fit related issues, including timelines and changes.
• Monitor compliance with building regulations and internal standards throughout the fit-out process.
• Manage communication between brands and local authorities regarding permits and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate effective communication systems with contractors and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Review and distribute brand plans for internal comments and approvals.
• Conduct site meetings and ensure health and safety standards are maintained during installations.
• Support the development of new systems and procedures to streamline the shop-fit process.

Requirements

• A degree or relevant qualification in construction management or architecture is preferred.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in retail development.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 3D visualization software.
• Strong knowledge of local building regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
• Experience working with European or international companies is a plus.
